About Me

Prof. Dr. Şahin Ulu was born in 1978 in Akşehir. He successfully completed his medical education at the prestigious Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.

He completed his residency at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital. He served as the Head of ENT Department at Afyon Kocatepe and Istanbul Bahçeşehir Universities between 2016-2021.

Throughout my residency, I gained extensive practice and surgical experience, particularly in Head & Neck Oncological Surgery, Rhinoplasty, Functional Nasal Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Salivary Gland Tumors, Laryngeal Diseases, and Chronic Middle Ear Diseases. In the diagnosis and treatment processes, I have adopted the fundamental principle of planning based on scientific data and current literature.

I have always attached special importance to my academic career. Between 2016 and 2021, I served as the Head of the ENT Department at Afyon Kocatepe University. During the same period, I took on the role of Head of the ENT Department at Istanbul Bahcesehir University, carrying both administrative and academic responsibilities. In this process, I contributed to the education of undergraduate and residency students, took an active role in conducting scientific studies, and maintained my academic productivity in my field.

Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery is a specialty that requires a multidisciplinary approach, precise anatomy, and advanced surgical technical knowledge. Accordingly, especially in oncological surgery cases, I have made it a principle to work in coordination with relevant branches and prioritize patient safety.

As an ENT Specialist in Istanbul; I provide services with modern surgical techniques, minimally invasive approaches, and patient-oriented treatment planning. My goal is not only to treat the disease but to improve my patients' quality of life by providing functional recovery and aesthetic integrity together.
