Non-Surgical Radiofrequency Solution for Turbinate Hypertrophy

Why Do Turbinates Swell?

The structures on the inner walls of our nose that warm and humidify the air are called "Turbinates." Genetic predisposition, allergic rhinitis, smoking, and air pollution cause these tissues to swell chronically. The result: persistent nasal congestion and mouth breathing.

Reduction with Radiofrequency (RF) Technology

In the past, turbinates were surgically removed, leading to severe bleeding and dry crusting. Today, our Radiofrequency Treatment uses sound waves applied directly into the turbinate under local anesthesia, causing the tissue to shrink internally. There is no bleeding, no incisions, and the patient leaves the clinic without tampons.
